Art and Walk, Saitama

A project in which artists with a connection to Saitama City will exhibit their works at public facilities, stores, and private houses in Urawa Ward, Sakura Ward, and Midori Ward. It started in March, but has since been postponed due to the spread of coronavirus infection. We will restart in Urawa Ward and Omiya Ward from October, so please enjoy walking around the city.

KOBO SYU - Ask Art Exhibition

An exhibition by about 50 artists from the welfare facility "Kouboushu" in the southern part of Saitama Prefecture, which is currently attracting attention all over the world. "Works" that bridge the "art" and "welfare" like water and oil and question the meaning of human expression. Paintings, three-dimensional works, objects that make you feel intensely original, the existence hidden in the scribble that seems to be everywhere, the root of expressing for human beings while exploring the possibilities of what you can not do, and beyond art and welfare I will ask what is "the meaning of doing".

"Invisible Experience, Unorganized Body" Performance and Talk

We will unravel the potential conflicts or their potential in today's actual society, which the body and its experiences are suffering from, in various ways called "performance".

This is a collaboration project between Social Arts / Unit ULSE and Saitama Triennale 2020 "Art and Walk, Saitama". It is an event in "Art of the Fields 2021 Sky and Earth", that The recorded footage of the completely private outdoor art exhibition "Borders" performed by Unit Urus will be projected onto smoked smoke.
