yoyo. is a cook. Under the concept of "To eat means to live. Delicious vegetables support everyone’s life," she began her activities in Tokyo in order to put into practice the vegetarian culture she encountered and was influenced by during her travels in South India. She started the traveling restaurant "VEGE SHOKUDO" using her friend’s store during regular holidays and kitchens in event spaces. Ever since, she has expanded the scope of her activities, from opening stores for art and culture events to creating recipes. In the end of 2016, she relocated to a mountainous area in the Niigata Prefecture where she engages in experiencing the cultivation of rice and the filleting of animal flesh using traditional methods, leading a life that is closer to the ingredients she cooks with. In 2019, she opened her first and long-awaited physical store in the Nuttari District, Niigata City.
