YORIKO (b.1987, Saitama Prefecture, Japan) currently lives in Tokyo and works as a communication designer and creator of shared spaces and time. She graduated from Kuwasawa Design School in 2009, and UAL Central Saint Martins Art and Design College in 2014. In various regions, she engages in developing design and art projects that focus on the theme of “collaboration across different generations and industries.” Incorporating local cultures, she presents projects in which wide ranges of people participate and interact, giving rise to vibrant and lively spaces. In addition to her participation in the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2018 (Niigata) and Culture City of East Asia 2019 Toshima (Tokyo) among others, she has implemented workshops and educational programs throughout Japan.
